Investigators who require IRB approval for their study can avail assistance of personalized IRB navigation: guidance through eBridge prior to submission, track protocol’s progress as it moves through the review process and track and troubleshoot delays to promote successful completion.
The IRB Navigator is a research service offered to investigators who require IRB approval for their study. The IRB Navigator provides investigators with assistance through the approval process and helps to ensure the process runs smoothly. Prior to, during and after the application is submitted through eBridge, the IRB Navigator can monitor it and troubleshoot to help advance the application to a successful completion. If there are areas that need further explanation prior to the application going to the IRB committee, the IRB Navigator acts as a liaison between the investigator and the IRB Coordinator to assist in providing clarification so the appropriate information is presented to reviewers and committee chair. After a study is approved, the IRB Navigator can assist with amendments and potentially reportable events.
